If you are interested in health issues and group sharing, you are welcome to join this new group. Through sharing, learning from each other's knowledge and experience, and gathering information along the way, it is hoped that the group can take home so helpful tips, guidance, information and encouragement (even inspiration) to better help yourself, your family and your friends maximise health and wellbeing. This group will be facilitated by Rose Chong, one of our wonderful volunteers. All sessions are gold coin donation.  Contact the office for dates.

Twilight Gin Tasting

Come and experience a variety of ways to enjoy Gin including cocktails like Martini, Gin Fizz and Singapore Sling along with the wonderful gin and tonic and infused gins too. Nibbles are also provided in a warm and welcoming environment to taste, relax and enjoy. Friday 24th February 7.30pm start. Cost $50 per person. For designated drivers and non-drinkers just wanting to socialise enjoying soft drinks and nibbles, a reduced fee of $10 per person will apply. Bookings are essential by Friday 17th February to ensure correct numbers are catered for.

This is a figure drawing class for beginners where we will concentrate on figure drawing (clothes on!) in addition to general drawing including some perspective. We will provide easels, tables and large drawing paper. You bring along a 4B or 6B pencil and charcoal or some coloured oil pastels if you prefer. Bring an A3 sketch pad if you would like to work on a smaller scale. Term 1- Starts Tuesday 31st January 12.30pm-3.00pm for 10 weeks. Cost $140. You’ll start with a cocktail on arrival, followed by tastings of 2 red wines, 2 white and a sparkling. Finish up with a dessert cocktail and enjoy canapes and finger food all night long. Friday 8th March 7.00pm start. Cost $40 per person with all drinks and food included. Enjoy a great workout, and musically nurture your senses with Latin body moves to Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Jive and Jazz to get that body pumping! Firstly, warm up to motivational music then get into the groove with simple dance moves at a faster pace. This is followed by a slow Rumba cool-down, and relaxing floor stretches to dreamy music to complete your workout experience. You can bring your own mat (or they are available at the Centre). Enjoy some competitive table tennis: this group is keeping fit with games suited to more experienced players, but still enjoying a cuppa and a social chat.
